Your Dose of Interior Inspiration: An Engineering Influenced Backsplash
I shot a cleverly designed modern kitchen the other week. Not only was it designed cleverly on the aesthetic level, but also on the functionality. Let's start with the aesthetics. What I particularly love about this kitchen is the backsplash itself. At first glance you might not think much of the white background, but when you are attentive to it you can see the beauty in the design by the way the light hits the ceramics and is able to cast a shadow that brings out a subtle yet stunning enhancement to the kitchen. Furthermore on the aesthetic side, I just love the bold color of the island. It's definitely a fun statement maker. As for the functionality of it, I just love how there is a butcher's cart that can be easily placed in the island. What are your thoughts?
